The Silhouette Man (189 pages) tells the story of a young person who wants to make a difference in the community, and the grandparent who mentors him. It is based on the real-life relationship between Greg and his Grandma. It received the Wisdom Speaks honor -- given to a book that celebrates the unique wisdom of seniors. The First Thirty is the condensed (96 pages) edition of the book - geared toward teens (and adults who prefer shorter books). The illustrated version of the story is The Milkshake Man -- geared toward Kindergarten to 5th grade kids (and adults who prefer illustrated books with just a few sentences per page).
