About the Books & Workbooks

The Silhouette Man tells the story of a young person who wants to make a difference in the community, and the grandparent who mentors him. It is based on the real-life relationship between Greg and his Grandma. It received the Wisdom Speaks honor -- given to a book that celebrates the unique wisdom of seniors. The First Thirty is the condensed (under 100 pages) edition of the book - geared toward teens (or adults who prefer shorter books). The illustrated version of the story is The Milkshake Man -- geared toward Kindergarten to 4th grade kids (or adults who prefer picture books). There are also optional companion workbooks (A Place To Sit for The Silhouette Man or The First Thirty -- and -- One Lunch for The Milkshake Man) Scroll down to see covers & page 1 reviews for each item.
